Produced by the Australian Perth Mint in 2018, this 1/10 oz gold coin celebrates the eleventh animal in the Chinese Zodiac. It's said that people born under the influence of the dog sign are loyal, amiable, kind and friendly.

The obverse shows a labrador retriever proudly standing on rocks and featuring a stylised pine tree in the background. We can also see the Chinese character for "dog" as well as the inscription "Year of the Dog" with the traditional "P" of the Perth Mint.

On the reverse we can see Queen Elizabeth II and the date, country and issue value of this coin.
